Who they are
Isagenix is a global direct sales company in nutrition and wellness, selling through a large field of independent distributors across multiple markets.
Its commerce platform was licensed from a vendor and run on the company's own servers — and the vendor had just started a two-year clock.
The challenge
The vendor behind the company's e-commerce platform had announced that the version Isagenix ran — licensed, but hosted on its own servers — would be obsoleted within two years. The prescribed path was to engage the vendor and migrate to its new SaaS platform, hosted by the vendor: a forced migration, on a deadline, toward a destination chosen by someone else.
And that was only part of the picture. Around the commerce platform sat components of the legacy system — still integral, still critical, and needing modernization of their own. Any credible plan had to deal with the whole, not just the piece with the deadline.
The company had also recently been through executive restructuring, promoting an internal leader into the technology role. The CEO and Board wanted support behind that leadership: help shaping the technology strategy, and a realistic plan they could take to the Board for review. AHM Technology was brought in to help with exactly that.
What we did
AHM Technology was engaged directly by the CEO and Board to help the company's technology leadership perform a comprehensive technology assessment and develop a strategic modernization plan. The engagement was structured to move quickly, align stakeholders, and deliver a clear, defensible recommendation — built with the technology leadership, not around them.
Expert Team Deployment
AHM Technology brought in seasoned technology experts with deep direct sales and MLM platform experience, establishing a collaborative working relationship with both the technology and business teams from the outset.
