AHM Technology was engaged to provide fractional CTO leadership, with Neil Markey stepping in as CTO and taking direct ownership of Cass.ai's technology strategy and execution.
Neil assumed the CTO role and provided strategic direction to Cass.ai's executive leadership and board. He defined the technology roadmap and architectural vision for the platform, and hired and onboarded additional engineering resources to build out the team.
AHM led the design and development of Cass.ai's conversational AI platform, architecting scalable systems to support real-time, empathetic user interactions. The platform integrated multiple AI technologies including Google's Gemini, OpenAI models, and PyTorch frameworks.
Custom machine learning models were built and trained specifically for mental health conversational use cases, covering natural language understanding, sentiment analysis, and conversational flow. The engineering team was mentored through this process, building durable AI expertise internally rather than creating dependency on external resources.
AHM oversaw the development of the full chatbot experience, leading product and design teams to deliver seamless, empathetic user interactions across the platform.
Neil acted as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board, representing the technology vision in investor discussions and providing guidance on AI adoption, product strategy, and go-to-market approach.

Through training and strategic guidance, AHM enabled a smooth transition of platform management, equipping Norwex’s in-house team with the skills needed to sustain and grow their technology. This focus on leadership empowered Norwex to drive their future technological initiatives independently, ensuring long-term stability and growth.
